BOND girl OLGA KURYLENKO is sick of people assuming she is stupid - insisting beautiful women often get treated unfairly, reports ContactMusic.
The model-turned-actress stars in new 007 movie Quantum of Solace and is determined to be taken as a serious thespian - not just a pretty face.
And Kurylenko admits that as an attractive female, she is often stereotyped as less intelligent.
She says, "All of the ugly people must be talented if the beautiful people are all stupid. I was just born like this. I didn't ask for it."

Olga Kurylenko gives me a quick wave as she leaps up the steps into her gleaming white trailer. She clicks the kettle on before returning to the door to beckon me in, looking flushed and fresh from the stunt training she`s been doing all morning. We`re at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, on the set of the 22nd Bond film, Quantum of Solace. It`s reportedly the most violent Bond film to date and, on my long walk through the labyrinthine studio grounds, I have passed the remains of an exploded hotel, a man in a suit sporting a fake bullet hole in his cranium and a fight being filmed on a plane.
Now, finally, Kurylenko sits in front of me, wearing a very Parisian outfit of white shirt, slim black trousers and black ballet pumps, and with her hair in a high ponytail. The French capital has been the actress`s home for 12 years, since she left Ukraine as a 16-year-old modelling hopeful in 1996. `The agency invites you for a trial,` she explains in a low, languorous, Russian-accented voice, `and if nobody likes you, you move back. There are a lot of girls who go back.` But Kurylenko stayed and racked up covers for Elle, Vogue and Marie Claire as well as advertising campaigns for Helena Rubinstein and Clarins, before eventually quitting fashion for acting. BOND HELPS KURYLENKO CONQUER HEIGHT FEARS

New JAMES BOND film QUANTUM OF SOLACE helped actress OLGA KURYLENKO conquer her crippling fear of heights.
The new Bond girl performed many of her own stunts in the new action film, but there was one leap from a balcony that she dreaded as soon as she saw it in the script. She tells WENN, "I was more than a little apprehensive during the party scene when the Bond villain Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric) is supposed to push me off a very high balustrade.
"I had to jump from the roof to the balcony and I don't like to be at such a high point because I'm scared of heights. I can't even walk on the balcony of my apartment.
"But I had 45 minutes to do the stunt and the stunt co-ordinators explained to me that I was attached to a wire, and it was safe, so I did it."

Olga Kurylenko, the model and actress who stars in the upcoming James Bond movie, began acting by playing Santa Claus’ young wife in a school play in her Ukrainian hometown.
Teachers remember Kurylenko, the 28-year-old brunette who charms 007 in “Quantum of Solace,” for the determination, drive and luck that turned her into a Bond Girl.
“She was such a talented girl,” said her hometown piano teacher, Halina Kulchitska. “Even if she hadn’t become James Bond’s girl, she still would have gotten some big role.”
